Biography

Dr. Jiayin Li is an associate professor at Lanzhou University. She completed her undergraduate studies in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2018. And then, she was directly admitted to the School of Mathematical Sciences at Xiamen University for a doctoral degree in Computational Mathematics. Her doctoral supervisor was Professor Jianxian Qiu, and she was also co-supervised by Professor Chi-Wang Shu. After obtaining her Ph.D. in 2023, she worked as a joint postdoctoral fellow at Peking University and Peking University Chongqing Big Data Research Institution, focusing on the development of the finite element industrial software BEFEM. Her main responsibility was to build a fast algorithm framework for multigrid method, under the supervision of Professor Jun Hu. She has presided over one general project and one special project of the Postdoctoral Science Foundation of China, and published several articles in international journals such as Journal of Computational Physics and Communications in Computational Physics.
