Biography

Professor Yu-Jiang Wu (Yujiang Wu) received his B.Sc degree in Mathematics and his M.Sc degree in Mathematics from Lanzhou University in 1982 and 1985 respectively. In 1997 he received his Ph.D degree in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics of Shanghai University with Professors Ben-Yu Guo and Zhong-Hua Yang as his advisors. He then spent two years at the School of Physical Science and Technology in Lanzhou University as a post-doctoral fellow. Since 1985 he has been with the Department of Mathematics/School of Mathematics and Statistics, Lanzhou University, as Assistant (1985-86), Lecturer (1987-94), Associate Professor (1995-2001), and Professor (2002- ).
